Present Simple + никаких артиклей в заголовках

    Здравствуйте. Один их комментаторов спросил меня, зачем было использовать Present Simple вместо Past Simple в оглавлении типа ‘Наконец то собака Супермена проходит дрессировку”.

Будь мужиком…

     Решение: зачастую в масс-медиа нэйтивов встречаются упрощённые способы использовать предложения. Например: “Читатель становится счастлив” вместо «читатель стал счастлив». Оставим им решать эту загадку, но тенденция заметна – вместо прошедших времён автор выражается в заглавии с помощью настоящих «сейчашних» (времён). Эта особенность заставила предложение звучать в настоящем времени (Present Simple).

    Но, ведь, более логично использовать в заглавии артикль THE и писать в прошлом времени! Ведь, это же случилось в прошлом, да? ДА, но это английский, а не жизнь прожить, как поле перейти. Вот немного теории с упражнениями на сегодняшнюю тему:

  One of my readers asked (Может быть правильнее «CAE IS achieved»?) me why I used the Present Simple instead (of) the Past Simple in a title like this ‘Superman’s dog finally receives training’.

Explanation: in many titles in native media you can find some simpler than usual usages of sentences. For example: ‘Reader gets happy’ instead of ‘the reader got/has got happy’. Why they use it is up to them, but we can notice a tendency; instead of the past tenses the author uses the Simple Tenses group. The tendencies of such a simplification made the title of this article become the Present Simple example. But, the logically better way should be: ‘THE Present Simple and no article in titles’.
